My consumption of media per day over the five-day period ranged between 12.5 hours and 15.25 hours. This was highest on Day 3, at 15 hours and 15 minutes. Most of my consumption was through PCs, laptops, and tablets, ranging between 4 hours and 45 minutes and 6 hours and 45 minutes per day. This indicates that my major consumption of media is through larger screens, which could be for academic and professional activities as well as for extensive periods of studying.
Consumption via smartphones was also high, averaging 4 hours per day. This indicates that I am actively engaging in social media activities, communication, as well as accessing content through my smartphone throughout the day. Consumption through streaming and television was consistent at an average of two hours per day. This indicates that my consumption of screen-based entertainment is a regular activity.
It was interesting to note that there was no consumption of print media or video games over the five-day period, indicating a totally digital lifestyle. Consumption through offline activities was between one and two hours per day, which was relatively lower compared to the total screen-based activities.
The above statistics indicate a totally screen-based lifestyle that needs more boundaries to be drawn for more offline activities as well as a reduction in dependency on digital activities.
